Terms and Conditions

We provide human resource services directly to managed Company Brand Hotels.  We may offer access to our supplier arrangements and certain limited services to franchised hotels on a purely optional basis, as a courtesy. 

Talent Point enters arrangements with third-party service providers that offer human resource products and services including job boards for job postings, background check services, learning and development tools, communication tools, tools and services relating to associate engagement surveys and rewards programs, temporary staffing services, and the procurement of associate alert devices.  From time to time, Talent Point may enter arrangements with third-party service providers for additional services. 

You acknowledge and agree as follows:

(1) The services offered to you under the service name of Talent Point are completely optional.  You are not required to utilize any of these services. 

(2) If you choose to participate in any third-party offerings, you must contract directly with the third-party service provider. 

(3) You are advised to consult your own legal counsel prior to contracting with any third-party service providers.

(4)  By creating a job posting on the Talentpoint platform, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for complying with any and all applicable federal, state or local labor and employment laws, including but not limited to laws related to job posting requirements, and that Marriott International, Inc. has no control over the contents of the job posting. 

(5) Marriott International, Inc. and its affiliates makes no representations or warranties regarding the products and services that are offered through Talent Point or the services offered by any third-party service providers under arrangements negotiated by Marriott International, Inc. or its affiliates.  You agree that you are solely responsible for conducting diligence regarding the nature and quality of services provided under the Talent Point programs.  You are solely responsible for supervising any service providers with which you engage.  You assume all risk of loss that may arise or be associated with your participation in any Talent Point program or arrangement.    

(6) Neither Talent Point nor Marriott International, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates are liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained by you, your management company, or your respective employees arising from or relating to any third-party service provider or its products or services.

(7) In utilizing any Talent Point services or programs, and in any dialog with third-party providers, you will identify yourself or your management company, as applicable, as the sole employer of any on-property or above-property employees.  Under no circumstances will you state or imply that Marriot International, Inc. or its affiliates are employers of your employees or the employees of your management company.  All employment decisions relating to such employees will be made solely by you or your management company, as applicable.  You and your management company acknowledge and agree that Marriott International, Inc. and its affiliates do not directly or indirectly or control the employment policies or decisions of your hotel(s).

The contents of this material are confidential and proprietary to Marriott International, Inc. and may not be reproduced, disclosed, distributed, or used without the express permission of an authorized representative of Marriott. Any other use is expressly prohibited.
